*Single-Pole vs. Multi-Location: Single-pole dimmers should be used for rooms where the light fixture is controlled by only one light switch. If desired, the Lutron Vierti can also be used with companion dimmers (sold separately) to dim the light from multiple switches and thus function as a multi-location dimmer.
