Have you ever seen a lighting application where the MR-16 lamps range from pink to orange and green? That is because the lamps have inferior reflector coatings. USHIO's Eurostar™ reflector utilizes a multilayer titanium oxide coating which is much more durable than the standard dichroic coatings. The thickness and application of these coatings ensure that they do not crack or peel under the stress of high temperatures. Our Eurostar™ MR-16's maintain color from lamp to lamp and throughout the life of the lamp.
Inferior lamps display uneven and inaccurate beam patterns. Beam accuracy and uniformity is controlled by proper alignment of the lamp filament within the reflector. USHIO focuses the lamp filament inside the reflector, thereby optimizing the lamp's specified beam pattern, light intensity, and beam uniformity.

Eurostar™ Reflekto™ lamps are made with an aluminum deposition to reduce process heat emission through the back of the lamp. These lamps are well suited for enclosed or recessed fixtures where there is a risk of thermal damage to sockets and transformers. Much like a PAR lamp, the aluminized coating reduces the back spill of light through the rear of the reflector.

There is no ring-shaped shadow and no black spot in the middle of the light pattern.
The refined beam pattern of the Superline™ lamp is perfectly suited for wall washing and illuminating artwork where the quality of light is not a compromise. The UV-cut halogen capsule and IR permeable reflector helps protect heat-sensitive objects. The seven layer reflector coating is made up of a hard Titanium Oxide surface that provides consistent color throughout the life of the lamp and consistent color from lamp to lamp. Superline™ offers 5000 hours average life - an extra 1000 hours over standard MR-16 lamps.

Ushio 12V Frostline Halogen Light Bulbs
USHIO's Frostline™ series of MR-16 lamps feature a halogen capsule surrounded by a frosted reflector and frosted front glass cover. Because there is no reflective coating on the reflector, the light profile spills in all directions. Normal dichroic MR-16s typically cause color changes or disruptive patterns on colored fixture glass.
The Frostline™ series was designed to fit into pendant glass fixtures and eliminate the back-spill of "dichroic color" often occurring when used in these type of fixtures.
Ushio 12V Softline Halogen Light Bulbs
USHIO Softline™ series of MR-16 lamps feature a frosted glass cover. The frosted front glass cover reduces glare and evenly distributes white Halogen light without dark spots or striations.
The UV protected Halogen capsule is computer aligned inside a Titanium Oxide coated reflector. The proper alignment of the filament and the reflector ensures a precise beam pattern. The hard Titanium Oxide surface provides consistent color throughout the life of the lamp.
Ushio 12V Popstar Halogen Light Bulbs
USHIO Popstar lamps allow colors to be added to your design without the added expense of colored filters and gels. The highest quality dichroic coatings are applied to the front cover glass of these MR-16 lamps to provide deep color saturation. Computer controlled alignment of the axial filaments in the Popstar lamps allow precise beam control. All of the Popstar lamps have UV protecting quartz used for the bulb wall to protect both the dichroic filter and the illuminated subject.

Ushio 24V Eurostar Halogen Light Bulbs
Eurostar™ 24 volt series of Halogen MR-16 lamps provide professional grade lighting. The UV protected Halogen capsule is aligned within a Titanium Oxide coated reflector. The hard Titanium Oxide surface of the reflector provides consistent color throughout the life of the lamp.
The 24 volts systems use half the current (amperage) than 12 volt systems. This allows higher wattage loads and up to twice as
many as lamps on a longer lighting system. The 24 volt systems are less prone to voltage drop over longer wires and connections which results in more consistent brightness and color.
Ushio 120V Pro-Star Halogen Light Bulbs
PRO-STAR™ line voltage MR-16 lamps were designed for applications where the compact appearance of an MR-16 is desired without the requirement of a low voltage transformer. The PRO-STAR™ lamps feature a "turn-in/turn-out" locking base that is designed for easy installation in compact spaces. In addition, the overall length of PRO-STAR™ lamps is shorter than PAR-16 and JDR Halogen lamps making them a perfect fit for compact lighting designs.
These lamps are available in aluminum (GU10) and dichroic (GZ10) reflectors with UV-stop front glass that protects objects from harmful ultraviolet emissions. With beam spreads of 25 degree narrow flood and 50 degree wide flood, these lamps are ideal for most indoor general lighting applications.
