What is Circadian Balance?

In nature, life follows rhythms and cycles. A common cycle is the four seasons. Each year we pass through springtime and a renewal of plant and animal life. This cycle continues through summer, autumn and eventually winter.

Other natural cycles include the way the earth revolves around the sun once each year, and the earth’s 24-hour rotation each day. These cycles are well-defined rhythms and nature’s way of maintaining balance.

Like nature, our bodies also have rhythms – and they too are tied to nature. In fact, when working properly, our bodies respond to nature’s cues to create ideal rhythms. That’s why the way we feel changes with each passing season and responds to nature’s 24-hour cycle.
