The phone always gets answered (What would you expect for an internet site that has their toll-free phone number in bold face on the top of their home page), and the service is courteous and helpful. I spoke to James Page and Patsy Petersen on a matter that needed attention today,ASAP. They both were high standard experts performing their duties with a cordial and friendly attitude. I could see the smile on their faces and that is hard to do over the phone. It is good to know that in our modern days with all of our urban problems, we can still count on people like them,the spirit of courteous and friendly service alive and well. I must write as I have received such EXCELLENT customer service from your company. Let me tell you about it:
I did an internet search, and quite randomly selected your company to order a dozen M16 type bulbs for all the recessed light cans in our new home. They work great, received the order in a timely manner and was very happy with the price. Transaction complete.
I ordered a new floor lamp from another internet company. I received the lamp, assembled it and inserted the bulbs. They were of a variety that I had never seen, but I knew they were of the halogen type, and thus, was very careful not to touch the bulbs with my fingers so I wouldn't put any oil on them. Nevertheless, they burnt out within a day! I was shocked! The lamp was by Robert Sonneman, a well known name in lighting, so couldn't understand it. My husband was already not happy with the amount of money I had spent on the lamp (a little spendy for us) and I was certainly not going to admit to him that now the bulbs had burnt out and we had a lemon on our hands.
I thought of your company. I e-mailed a question regarding the type of bulb to your website. The bulb from my lamp looked NOTHING like the photo on your website that I thought might be the replacement bulb. About a half hour later my telephone rang. It was one of your employees calling to help me ID the bulb! WOW!!! What customer service! I e-mailed him a photo I took of my bulb to cshelton@lightingquotes.com and he determined the replacement type, then verified that you did indeed have them in stock. He saw to it that they were shipped out to me ASAP (I ordered 10 bulbs). I got them, put up the new light fixture and both my husband and I now LOVE the lamp. The new bulbs actually put out much more light than the old ones.
I have to tell you how much I appreciate the personal touch with your customer service. In this day of anonymous sellers on the internet, I was so pleased to know that there are REAL people at your company ready to help people like me. I'm not a big customer, just a housewife in Minnesota looking to light her house, but your company actually VALUES ME! The topic of light bulbs doesn't come up often in conversation, but I have told others about 1000 Bulbs, so hopefully you will get some new customers...My husband is a small business owner (he sells batteries and chargers for forklifts) and has supported us for 25 years. As such, I always try to support the small, independent business. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to patronize 1000bulbs.com and having FABULOUS service and products! Hello, Bulbs arrived when you said they would and in good condition, put 2 of them to use, worked good. Would reccomend 1000 bulbs to anybody.
