Multimedia Video Production Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
Multimedia Video Production Specialist reporting to the Art Director is responsible for the production process of creative materials and ensuring high quality standards are met. Working along side the marketing team to develop marketing and advertising materials and assist in the generation of creative marketing ideas and solutions. Main duties include: Creation of content development, scriptwriting, story boarding, video acquisition, video editing and the creation of visual concepts for web development ensuring material meets and exceeds current quality standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Produce quality marketing materials while upholding the integrity of the brand. Follow process to guarantee quality standards are maintained and business objectives are met.
- Execute project videos based on interpretation of concepts, ;marketing objectives, and knowledge of the business involved.
- Work on projects spanning all internal business channels while building an overall expertise on the product line.
- Responsibilities include conceptualizing, creating, implementing and ensuring consistency in corporate branding as well as marketing communications.
- Responsible for solving any production problems that arise in a project and recommending alternatives to meet the concept and objectives of the project.
- Strong layout skills and ability to communicate activities in the development of multimedia communication projects such as product videos and marketing projects.
- Assist in managing project workflow and meeting deadlines. Ability to work well under pressure, handling several projects simultaneously.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
General administrative duties: Phone calls, email, organization, maintaining video archives, etc.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Proficient with a large-format digital video camera
- Broad understanding of video acquisition such as scripts, story board, lighting and audio concepts
- Broad understanding of video production and editing using After Effects
- Ability to post videos on the web site and the internet
- Understanding of FLASH, Adobe Photoshop and HTML/Dreamweaver is a plus
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work closely with team to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Confidence and know-how to manage projects independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Exemplary interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication skills and a cooperative attitude in a team environment
- Able to develop strong working relationships with internal peers
- Strong typography skills, composition skills and color sense
- Extraordinary attention to process and detail
Education, Certification, and/or Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in video production required
- Outstanding video portfolio of your own work required
