These 400W equivalent (105 actual watts) CFL light bulbs definitely make a presence with my clients and does pretty well however I'll need to go with a more natural color temperature next time or simply buy a studio lighting kit. This does make a good start for video and photography use however you might find yourself adjusting your photos to 4200k white balance.

Seriously, do not look directly into this light unless you want to go blind. I bought this to give my house plants some extra light. Lucky for me, they aren't in the living room, cause this light bulb is definitely museum style brightness. But it has 5000k color temperature, good for vegetative growth. And sure enough, my plants are growing very quickly.

For only 1/4 the energy consumption, this giant CFL puts out serious light! I use it to grow basil indoors. I've never had a problem with not getting enough light using this 105w cfl

Cheaper than HID lighting and no need for a ballast as it has a medium base. With almost 7000 lumens at only 105w it's a good deal. Doesn't produce too much heat either. Solid all around light bulb that could several people for several needs.

Replacing the 2 ceiling bulbs with these was way less expensive than installing new fluorescent tube fixtures. The amount of light is unbelievable. Would recommend these to anyone!

Very bright and durable. Excellent value especially for for lighting rooms with limited or no ceiling lights. Please not size of bulb and plan accordingly.
