Rated 5 out of 5 by Cuester Hard to find Circline bulbs at a great price!
I have four custom-made "windows" in a windowless room with a 40 watt and a 32 watt circline bulb behind fogged glass in each one. Gives a faux daylight-streaming-through-the-window effect and is quite striking. Then one blew out and i noticed the rest were fading, I decided I might as well replace all of them so the light intensity would be the same in each "window."
But finding the right replacement bulbs in any local store proved impossible. And expensive. Sure they would order them, but that would take a week or so. Some were in stock but not four sets of them. Some places had the 32s but not the 40s ... and vice-versa,
I came home and looked for them on 1000 bulbs. They not only had the exact replacement size and wattage, but the bulbs were around 3x cheaper!
So far, these are better than the originals.
