We use these on vehicles with 12v systems to save money versus a local supplier like napa or autozone. They are cheap enough that we can stock up and always have them on hand for whatever we are working on. Have had no issues so far. 12v vehicles usually run between 13 and 14 volts so the rating gives me a little more confidence in the bulb's longevity than a 12v rated bulb would.
