Rated 5 out of 5 by The same quality product that automotive outlets sell for ten times the cost. #93 automotive lamp used in a vintage Tensor high intensity desk lamp. I needed this particular replacement bulb for a desk lamp that has served me well for the last thirty years and I expect to still be useful for another thirty years. Unfortunately, the normal replacement route involves visiting a local automotive parts dealer who charges sinfully high prices for dodgy quality mainland Chinese manufactured parts. I was pleased to find this source that charges one tenth the unit cost for parts that come with a pedigree that is superior to the parts available locally. I was a little uncertain about ordering when I saw that "standard" shipping and handling would quadruple the cost. However, with the alternative being even more odious, I opted to place my first order with 1000Bulbs. The costs for shipping and handling were vindicated with delivery in three days via priority US Mail. The packaging was more than adequate to ensure safe shipment. Shipping took place within hours of placing the order, on a Sunday, no less. When the lamps arrived, I arbitrarily pulled two and tried them in the desk lamp. Both performed as expected with no loss of brightness. Its too early to comment on reliability, but I will update this review if these lamps fail to measure up. April 20, 2013
