Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Bright Light Of all the CFL/CCFL bulbs I have bought from 1000Bulbs.com, these are the truest for brightness. The color works well for the area we have them in. They do take a minute or so to reach full brightness, but they seem every bit as bright as the 50W bulbs the electrician put in. We have these in our vanity in our remodeled master bath, and they are great for that. I really like these bulbs. June 11, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by As bright as 50watt Halogens that were replaced Takes about a minute for this bulbs to actually turn on, but when they do they are as bright if not brighter than the 50 watt halogens they replaced. The lumens in the description is accurate. April 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great! Completely acceptable replacement for a PAR20. A little expensive compared to other CFLs. Nice and bright, color temperature is almost as nice as halogen and better than any PAR20 LED I've seen. February 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Proven performance. I'm re-ordering this bulb and buying a case this time. Two years ago I bought 4 of these and they still work fine, so I'll be gradually replacing all the other CFL's I have throughout the house which I bought at discount stores. Happy to find a product that works as it should. October 22, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Bulb for savings This is a great bulb to replace expensive flood lights in high hats. It has a tremendous energy savings and once the bulb warms up you cannot tell the difference. October 6, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Brightest PAR 20 CFL Our kitchen was built with smaller recessed fixtures than we wanted, limiting us to PAR 20 bulbs. We were also committed to using CFLs. This was the brightest one available and has actually worked well but it does take a few minutes to reach full brightness. October 6, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheap - you get what you pay for These are not good lamps. They are not as bright as 40w reflector spots, maybe 30w if you're lucky. Also, they are very cold white light. Closer to 5000k than 3000, though I don't have a meter to check that. If you want a soft, cold white, they are great. If you're replacing 40 or 50 watt PAR30 halogens, you're going to be disappointed. Oh, also, they don't match. I bought 3 and each one is a slightly different color. July 7, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bright, and clean looking The bulbs are bright provide consistent light. Out of two cases, I did have one dud but overall I am very pleased with the product and the price point. June 7, 2011
