I used to replace me halogen bulbs in tracklighting. The fit well, look good and the light color is close to the halogen.

I found the length to be just a bit greater than the incandescents I was using, but otherwise a perfect fit. Lots of mini-cans were really heating up a recently finished basement. This bulb helped to cut down on the thermal waste with a nice color temperature.
