I replaced my four 75 watt incandescent ceiling reflector lamps with 4 of the.Energy Miser FE-RSF-20W-50K. These are much brighter and the diffuse white light casts hardly any shadows. Colors now appear natural instead of the off color of an incandescent. A nice feature (for me) is when first turned on they don't blast you with bright light but reach full brightness in a minute or two. Easy on the eyes.

I just ordered and installed ten of these bulbs. One had a partially removed front plastic cover which I was able to reattach. The other made crackling and sizzling sounds and smelled like the ballast burned up when I first tried to turn it on. I have had good success with the 2700K version of these bulbs I purchased in the past. They are the highest wattage R30 CFL floodlights I can find. They have a very wide, even light dispersal, wider than halogen and incandescent floods. These bulbs do require 3-5 minutes to reach full brightness.

Probably the fastest non-ballast CFL I've used. Good where a bright white light is needed.

We replaced all of the standard 65W floods in our advertising agency with these bulbs. The bulb's daylight color temperature and light output make our office look like a showroom. Even though we went from 65W incandescent to these 20W CFLs (90W equivalent) an increase in what would seem to be only 25W the lighting levels in our office are actually double.

I bought 8 of these for my garage 2 years ago. They get turned on at most once a day for at least an hour (and not flicked on/off for a few minutes). At most, they have 1500 hours on them, and already two have failed in the past 3 months. Haven't replaced them due to 1000bulbs high shipping costs. They are excellent for their intended purchase, and I haven't found anything comparable to them in the big box stores, so make sure you buy a few extras.

was looking for a compact full spectrum with high lumens this is it. Also the price was right. I wanted to replace halogen which had a high output in lumens. This lamp more or less matched the halogen. The only drawback is it take a few minutes to warm up. For me this is not a problem.

The lights put out the purest white or daylight type of light yet. At 20 watts they are bright enough for any room.

Bought these to replace 75W Halogens in my kitchen fixtures. Easy to do the switch, and have been functioning well with no loss in illumination. Would recommend to the energy conscious as an effective money saver
