Doubles light output, saves energy These reflectors just about double the amount of light coming out of a CFL. They are perfect for ceiling "can" light fixtures. Without these reflectors, half of your light goes UP into the fixture. These reflectors are like mirrors, focusing the light downward. I have been able to switch from 23 watt CFL's down to 13 watt CFL's in several dozen "can" lights, and get the same amount of light output. Just make sure your facilities guys don't throw out the reflector when the bulb burns out! June 30, 2011
