Rated 5 out of 5 by Workhorse series are true to their name! I'm using this Workhorse 6 for a retro-fit of an old 2 lamp F40T12 shop light... Using home-made brackets and buying T5 Lamp holders from 1000bulbs I'm using this ballast to power 4 F28T5's... 2 F40's use 80 watts and I was only getting 4800 Lumen's (total luminosity).... Using 4 F28T5's for a total 112 watts, however I'm getting 11,600 Lumen's... That's a total of 6800 extra Lumens for 32 more watts. It would take a total of 5 F40T12's and 200 watts to reach 12,000 Lumens which is comparative to just 4 F28 T5's... Of course 1000bulbs shipped fast and Fulham makes some great ballast!
