Used to Purple Glass
We use these lights in a purpling box to turn old clear glassware purple. Before a certain date, manganese was used as a clearing agent. With sunlight or UV rays it will turn purple. These work very well for the process although it is not what they were originally intended for.

A better quality product.
I appreciate the quality of this product and have found it to be a reliable UV bulb.
