I order three of these bulbs for a pendant light fixture. One of them was dead within about four months - well below the stated average of 12000 hours. I'd guess that it was on an average of four hours a day or so.
After nine months, another bulb fizzled and then popped, leaking its internal gases all over my dining room table. We had to air out the house for an hour before we could go back in and clean up the mess.
