These Bulbs are awesome
After reading a previous review I purchased a case of these bulbs to light up 1/2 acre partially wooded lot. Everything was true, I can walk directly towards these lights without being blinded, yet they provide more light & for a farther distance than bulbs I've bought for twice the price. No wonder they were out of stock at first, it was definately worth the wait to get them.

casts light further than three different 120 watt Incandescent
Living in a harsh environment and having tried a variety of flood lights, I have found one that actually casts further than competing 120 watt Incandescent and many florescent without being harsh; able to work in front of them.
I will buy more of these and recommend them.

good product. purchased previous to this order with good use results
good long lasting bulbs installed in hard to reach areas. have been in use over 1 year. this order was placed to further stock up pending planned govt banning of incandescent lighting. planning to buy additional quantities.

Halco BR38
I was using local mega store 65 watt floods. These Halcos are so much brighter than their 85 watts indicates that I have them rheostatted way down. Two is all I real need whereas I had four of the 65s.
