Rated 5 out of 5 by RSaribay Outstanding Customer Service!
Very prompt responses when I had questions. I had to call my order in because I live in Hawaii which was a bit weird but nonetheless I was greeted with great customer service that was a pleasure to deal with. The bulbs I got were a bit pricier because of the shipping, came out to about $4.90 per bulb, but that was still significantly cheaper than the $8-9 I'd pay here in the stores. I would most definitely recommend 1000bulbs to anyone!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BtrieveBill Mfg Defect, but Great Response from 1000Bulbs
I ordered 5 of these units to replace a failed bulb in a ceiling fan and to have some spares. The first bulb I opened had a defect -- an extra blob of solder on the side of the base, making it impossible to put the bulb in any socket. Luckily, it was the first one and not the last one! I was able to open and check all the others (which were fine), and 1000Bulbs processed an RMA for the bad unit immediately. Kudos!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cari Excellent for Harbor Breeze Freeport fan!
This bulb works great! I bought 20 of them (taking a chance as this was my first purchase with 1000bulbs.com) to offset the shipping cost, though honestly they are so much cheaper than the previous one I bought at HD (major home improvement store, over $8 for that one) that even with shipping they are a significantly better deal. My fan came with a 120volt, 100watt, JD-E11 size bulb, frosted. Local large hardware chains did not carry this exact bulb, instead of JD they had T4. The T4 fit fine, just a marginally longer bulb but same size attachment (E11 part). Initially I bought the closest one I could find at HD, costing almost 3 times the price here (as mentioned above) and it lasted only 2 weeks. I was careful to not touch the bulb with my hands, as I read the oil of your hands makes the bulb burn hot in that spot and shortens its life. So 2 weeks was rediculous. Fearful that the same would happen with any bulb I bought for this fan, I figured I would at least give 1000bulbs a shot since they were more affordable all around. I wrote to 1000bulbs regarding safety and match of this 130volt T4-E11 to my fan and they were helpful in explaining the 120volt vs 130 volt difference. 130volt will give off 25% less light and last longer and is safe. Most important to me is that it is safe. I bought the clear instead of the frosted, as my fan has the bulb covered with a frosted glass piece anyway and I wanted to let as much light through as possible anticipating a noticable light difference with the 130volt. I did not notice a light difference. The bulb fits and works great. The shipping was really fast, took only 2 days. The packing was careful and the 20 bulbs were each individually wrapped in protective packing and in an individual box. Those 20 small bulb boxes were packed well with biodegradeable peanuts in a larger box. I can't speak to how long it will last as it's only been a week. But I'll repost once it burns out, just to give a sample of it's life expectancy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by talkgiver This on-line retailer charges half what any local store charges.
The blub from this manufacturer has the same life as others but at a lower cost.
The bulb retailer even with shipping is less than any local store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KJ2011 Good quality bulb
I have purchased 10 or more of these bulbs for my hallway lights. They are bright, functional and basically what you would expect from a light bulb. My hall lights get turned on every day for about 3 hours and I would estimate one bulb lasts about a year with that amount of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Truthmonger High quality, low price, rare availability...
This is the bulb style and wattage used by a Hampton Bay ceiling fan we have in the living room. When the original bulb burnt out, none of our local home improvement centers had the right style of halogen bulb in the correct wattage (they only offered 75W's, the original bulb is a 100W).
1000bulbs.com is the only place I found the bulb at a reasonable price. Two days later, the replacement bulb was in the fixture and has worked fine since (5 months).
The price was also 1/5th to 1/10th what other retailers were asking for lower power bulbs.
