The Howard EP2/54HO/PRS/MV/90C electronic fluorescent ballast operates (2) F54T5/HO lamps at 120/277 input volts. Ideal for use in normal light areas, this programmed start ballast is typically used in offices, board rooms, and retail. Also operates FC12T5/HO, FT36W/2G11, FT50W/2G11 and F55W/2G11.

Great light output
Wanted to upgrade some F96T12/HO fixtures. I decided to try two F54T5/HO bulbs to replace two F96T12/HO bulbs. I was very impressed with the results. The light output was almost as bright as two 110 watt bulbs and very adequate for my needs. I plan to upgrade more fixtures and cut my power consumption in half.

Great ballast for the money
Needed a cost effective ballast for a T5 HO retrofit project and this one more than fit the bill. It meets every expectation and fit perfectly into a very narrow T5 strip light fixture. The ballast factor is a tad high when running only one lamp, but that just means the lamp is a bit brighter and may not last the full 35000 hrs or whatever life they're typically rated for these days. It runs very cool and quiet. Overall, I'm very pleased and will be ordering more.
