PRODUCT WAS WHAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE BALLAST THAT HAD WORN OUT. STANDARD DELY WAS QUICK.
HAVING BEEN IN THE ELECTRICAL BUSINESS BEFORE MY RETIREMENT I FOUND THESE BALLASTS TO BE PRICED WAY BELOW THE BIG BOX STORES FOR THE SAME THING. EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE MORE THAN TWICE THE COST OF WHAT MANUFACTURES PAY, THIS PRICE WAS ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE THEY WILL LAST A LONG TIME. ACTUALLY BALLASTS WERE NOT 1.07 BF BUT STANDARD .88 BF WHICH I WANTED TO BEGIN WITH. EITHER ONE WAS OK FOR ME, BUT IF SOMEONE REALLY WANTED THE HIGHER LIGHT OUTPUT THEY MIGHT BE UPSET.

NO noise!!
WOW, after listening to a mechanical starter for years it is WONDERFUL to have a ballast that makes NO noise, and is super quick to light the bulbs.
It fit easily into the light fixture, wires were long enough, but the instructions COULD have been a little clearer to me. Maybe I just wasn't thinking clearly that day, but a friend and I got them installed and I would and will recommend these Howard ballasts to anyone who is changing over to T-8 bulbs like I did.
Well done for selling and recommending such a fine product!

Couldn't be more satisfied
I struggled with finding the right ballast for our light and could not figure out the different codes on other websites. I discovered 1000 Bulbs online and finding the product I needed was fool proof.

Excellent replacement ballast
Using this ballast to convert from T-12 to T-8 bulbs. Very suitable replacement. I have had no problems so far. I have also installed other ballasts from this manufacturer with great results!

Solid product. Solid and dependable.
We use the Howard ballasts to retrofit 4' T12 fixtures. Many of these fixtures are old or in harsh environments. The Howard ballast always provides us with a reliable retrofit while being priced economically enough to make the retrofit profitable for the client.
