This Intermatic FM1D20A-120 24-hour/7-day electronic time control is a compact electronic 24/7 time switch module with heavy duty relay contacts for switching low or line voltage loads. Applicable for time of day control of pumps, fans, heaters, HVAC control circuits, lighting, machinery, and many other types of commercial, industrial, and agricultural equipment. The timer features large keys with a unique, circular pattern for easy programming, an easy-to-read LCD display, and capacitor backup to retain program memory during power outages. The timer also features a clear, snap-on dust cover.

Good timer product and relatively easy to program. The backup battery is a CR2032 Lithium cell, with a 3-year reserve. Sometimes you may receive the product that has an internal battery that's near it's end of life, and the manufacture does not recommend the user change the battery. I have changed several batteries in these units but you have to be extremely careful not to damage the plastic clips that hold the unit together. So what happens when your backup battery expires? Most customers may have to throw the unit away and spend more money purchasing another unit. This battery should be made to be user changeable, after all, the manufacture produces a similar timer that's an intergal part of a four function Air switch that has a very simple user changeable setup incorporating the exact battery. The instruction and programing manual could be improved, certainly the size of the printed material. The timer is a bit high priced, especially the 240Vac versions.
