Neolite T2 lamps feature a reduced tube size, giving them a shorter length and allowing them to fit into more applications. The lamps also use an extraordinarily small amount of energy, generating up to 75 lumens per watt and yielding as much as a 75% savings in energy costs. In addition, Neolite lamps use lead free glass and solder and only one milligram of mercury--a 75% reduction from the industry standard.

Bright per watt - similar to 20 watt
I have a house with 4100K Neolites on the 1st floor, and 5000K Neolites in the basement. The 4100K turn on to full (well, probably "nearly full") brightness instantly, but the 5000K bulbs take some time to get there. Color is good, and they are small which is great. They seem to work fine in recessed cans without issue.
