Bright bulb with more than enough light
Needed this bulb for a lamp I have in dining room. I have changed all my incandescent bulbs to CFL's but was not able to find a cfl bright enough for this particular spot. Until that cfl hits the market, I'll have to keep purchasing 150W incandescents for this lamp, and this one does the trick.

Good Bulb
They are not as bright as their shorter lived counterparts and considerably cooler in temperature, but they definitely did what we needed, which was to not burn out on a monthly basis. Our house has fixtures that don't fit the high lumen CFLs and so incandescent bulbs are our only option. These are great!
