Rated 4 out of 5 by Will last until lower cost better designed LED BR40 lights arrive Great choice for incandescent recessed spot lights - this is a good value overall. The lights are a little less bright than I would have liked for 100 watts. However the color is perfect and all 8 of them look very good overhead in our family room. The 20,000 life hours is a huge plus. We installed them in August 2013 so expect LED BR40 type lights to decrease in price and improve in design by the time we have to replace these in a couple of years. Since, they are installed in recessed can lights, several of them (3 of 8) over heat and turn on & off in the recessed cans - not that often - but happens. BTW - all of the old incandescent/halogen recessed can spot lights over heated in the cans we have - most of the old ones would blink on and off during the course of the evening. September 11, 2013
