I wish this was a true "twinkling" set, but it's not. Every fifth bulb on the set twinkles, while the others remain constant.
I tried putting them on my house and they looked awful, but then I took them off and put them on my tree. They look great there!
The effect is a glimmer that you catch out of the corner of your eye. My guests think they're really cool.

These are NOT twinkle bulbs... only one out of every five blinks, and to make matters worse, the set I received was manufactured incorrectly. The plug was put on so the wires can not be untangled and the plug winds up at the center of the light set. IT'S GOING BACK TODAY!
