Bought two several months ago & am adding two more. I've found them to be very reliable: one is used to illuminate outdoor stairs. It always triggers when our car pulls up (approx. 40-50' below the sensor) & remains on (even set on the 30 second setting) as long as motion is detected. We are able to climb the ~20 steps and enter our dwelling safely, with the single LED illuminating ALL of the stairs & entryway! Very easy to mount/install and angle for optimal illumination. Couldn't be more pleased with a device/product!

I installed this with a minimum fuss. I am surprised at the amount of light this thing provides and how easily it switches on after dark. This absolutely fills the need.

Ordering, delivery, installation was great. It worked like a charm-but only for 16 months. I hoped to get at least 2 years of use.

I bought these about 2 years ago. With the new one's you just mount them, there are no adjustments to set. (run time, ect.)

I highly recommend this light - I have 3 of them. They help SO MUCH at nighttime to help me see the outside stairs when it would have been totally dark without them!

I bought four - one for the steps to my front door, and three to mount above the garage doors in the alley. Three of the four work very well - not terribly bright but better than expected - so I'm overall pleased - with the ones that work. The fourth works only when motion is detected within 1-2 feet of it - not particularly effective for a unit mounted above a garage door - I can stand directly beneath it - wave my arms, jump up and down, and nothing. I walk over to the other two mounted at the very same height, and they turn on. The one above the front door is just great - I didn't have power available there - it's nice to have a light when Pizza's get delivered, or someone approaches after dark - provide enough light to feel safe. Mounted 9 feet high they cast a beam that is about ten feet in diameter on the ground. Would safely recommend if they all worked properly.

Bought 2 of these about 2 years ago. Batteries last over a year with a large amount of on and off cycles. I mounted them both outside on house and porch. Performed very well in zero degree weather. MOST importantly, when we were hit with that unusual October ice and snow storm last year (2011) here in Western Massachusetts, our power was out for 7 days. I relocated both of these lights inside the house. One in a hallway that lit up the bathroom, bedrooms and hall, the other in the kitchen/living room. My mom with Alzheimers was living with me and this kept light where she was walking as she is usually up all night wandering. They are a great daily use light as well as easy to move in emergency situations. As we moved around the house in the dark that week, they would just pop on and light our way for safety.

Use these lights to light our backyard as our two Golden retrievers do their business. As soon as one of them sticks his head out the doggie door the first light goes on. As they approach the steps down from the deck to the yard the next one goes on. The last two lights are based on their movenements in the yard.
Had to play around to get the angles right to keep blowing plants, etc. from turning them on. But that was easy to master.
Now Have exactly what we need - total coverage, no wiring, adjustable, and the entire yard is covered.
