cheap but good
running these instead of the hortilux, change em every 6 months. fresh cheapo bulbs are better than old horti's anyday!

Does the job for less money
For whatever reason you need a 1,000 watt HPS bulb, even agriculturally, in many ways the cheapest is the best. The spectrum is fine. And, even if the cheaper ones don't last as long, that's better too. Old bulbs get dimmer. So relamp anyway once or twice a year. Try out these bulbs. They seem to work fine.
