For Incandescent Mini Lights - Built-In Bulb Remover
This simple and inexpensive bulb tester is ideal for residential use including Christmas trees and small lighted displays. It's perfect for incandescent string lights that don't operate if a single bulb burns out. Not sure which bulb is faulty? Then this tester is a holiday must-have! To use, simply hold down the red button and move the tester down the length of the light set so that the sensor is near the top of each bulb. The red indicator will light when near a functioning bulb, but will not light when near a faulty bulb. Check out our 1000Bulbs.com video for visual instructions! This was exactly what I needed to check the many strands of lights we put up each year. We reuse what we can so invariably there are bulbs or fuses that need to be replaced. This does the trick.

I thought this would be a great product to try. Everyone had a great review, so I thought this would be great product. BUT when I recieved the product, it didn't work. The LED light flashed very faint. So I replaced the batteries and same thing. Flashed very faint and then didn't work. I could have spent the same amt of money and got a new strand of lights!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quasimodo Found the burnt out bulb quickly and saved my light string.
My light string was supposed to stay lit with a burned out bulb but it didn't. I had no idea which bulb had burned out. In less than a minute the mini light tester identified the bad bulb. I switched it out and saved my string. Good thing too because I would have had to redecorate my tree to replace the string.
