This T8 or T12 low-profile lampholder is for use with fluorescent lamps having a medium bi-pin base. This non-shunted socket can only be used with programmed start ballasts. For instant start ballasts, a shunted socket is necessary. Accommodates an 18 gauge mounting plate for easy installation.

My fluorescent light works like new.
My 4 light fluorescent light fixture was lighting up on only 2 bulbs. A new fixture would not have fit in the same space. A new ballast from 1000 Bulbs was easy to install and fixed the problem.
