This T8 or T12 standard profile lampholder is for use with fluorescent lamps having a medium bi-pin base. This non-shunted socket can only be used with programmed start ballasts. For instant start ballasts, a shunted socket is necessary. Accommodates an 18 gauge mounting plate for easy installation.

Works fine last long time
I had to replace the flourescent light assembly in my kids bathroom. This was the second time in 15 years that I had to do this. The first time, the local home improvement store had the entire assembly available to purchase. This last time, the local home improvement store only sold the ballast and did not sell the correct lampholders. 1000 bulbs.com had the correct lampholders at a outstanding low price.
