Slow start
These bulbs take a while to brighten when you turn them on. It takes a good 30 seconds to start up. Would not purchase again.

Long Warm-Up
Without having experience with CFL bulbs I ordered a case of these to replace a room of previous incandescents. What I didn't realize is that the bulbs light up very dim and it takes about 10 seconds for them to reach the Halogen color temperature advertised. If the slow ramp-up from dim to bright is okay with you then buy them. It was a surprise to me and not particularly welcome in a closet environment when sometimes rushed and trying to see what colors go together.
