Rated 5 out of 5 by Rick0308 277 Volt Flourescent Lamp. This has been a very cost effective replacement for 50 Watt metal hallide lamp and ballast in walkway lighting. For the price of a equal metal halide lamp we are getting the same lumen output and a slight savings on engery use. Add that we do not have to spen money and time on replacing ballast kits it is a great saver. Next step will be using LED's when they become cost effective. March 16, 2012
