This isn't the best CFL on the market, but for the price, it's the best deal on an A-shape (covered) CFL. They look great in my ceiling fan!

These lights are horrible. They must be made differently then the regular CFL's. They take about 10 seconds to be fully bright. If you dont need immediate light then they will work fine, But coming home at 2 in the morning, and flipping on the kitchen light and having to wait 10 seconds for it to get to full brightness isnt my thing.. I will be switching over to the regular "spiral" CFL's as they are full brightness as soon as you flip the switch
