The special mixture of halides provide all of the color without the use of expensive gels or color filters. Colorlite lamps can be used with standard Metal Halide ballasts and fixtures. Please note that metal halide lamps cannot be operated without a ballast.

This green metal halides produced strong green lights. First fire up test had no problem lighting a room with all green lights. So far lights work good, have not tested for a long time but I am sure it will work. The price of this light is a bit expensive. I wish it could be cheaper so I can get a couple more just so I have for replacement.
