For a very reasonable price, these bulbs give a very cool appearance both up close and from a distance.
They give a very antique, vintage look to any light!
I put them in my outdoor coach-style lighting fixtures and they look amazing!!!

I have a 110 year old home. As part of our restoration project we decide to restore existing lighting and purchasing floor and table lamps from the 1920's and 30's. To add to the ambience we decided to use the Edison lights which we purchased through 1000 Bulbs. They were the perfect solution to restore the lighting we were looking for.

Added these to old looking fixtures in a public dining room. They look great and really add to the vintage look. The warm glow adds a special ambiance to the room. Just what we were wanting!

We used over 30 of these bulbs for my daughter's farm wedding reception. Filled the barn with these -- at first we considered lanterns, but these were brighter and lots more fun. Can't tell you how many compliments we got!

Filament looks best dimmed half way. When on 100% the brightness obscures the squirrel cage effect.

Looked around for these bulbs. The cheapest price and shipping with 1000bulbs.com. Overall, a very beautiful bulb and upgrades the appearance of any lamp/light especially one that is somewhat bare.

These bulbs are perfect. Give great light yet still have a warm, supple glow to them. Perfect for period or retro lights. I use them on a dimmer switch and the effect is amazing to look at the squirrel cage filament on a low setting. Highly recommended and a great price to boot!
