This 1-1/8 inch T8 or T12 U-bend lampholder is for use with fluorescent lamps having a medium bi-pin base and has to be surface mounted onto its intended fixture. This non-shunted socket can only be used with programmed start ballasts and is rated for a maximum of 660 watts and 600 volts. It is UL listed, CSA certified, and has 12-inch leads.
