Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent bulbs These light quickly and have great brightness. I have had one or two failures out of 20 but Philips stands behind them and sent me a check for the bad bulbs. They take them back for testing to improve the product (at least that is what they claim). I found them better than the bargain brands and worth the price. October 29, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bulb for the money I purchased these bulbs for my basement. They are a bit slow to warm up and get the light shining. Once they warm up, they are great with very little power draw. Overall, they are a great bulb for the money. April 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I was overall pleased with this product The light bulbs have worked very well so far and it was well worth buying them from 1000bulbs.com i save a lot of money even with the shipping charge included. March 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dim Start, Birght Finish These bulbs start up very dim in my house where the average in-door temp during the fall/winter/spring is 65-70 degrees F. It takes them a good 20-30 seconds to warm up and then they are very bright. I've installed 30 of them and given what I paid, I can certainly live with the inital inconvenience. March 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by just what you would expect bulbs work great, they are from a well known manufacturer and cost 1/3 what they would cost in a big box store. February 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Inconsistent color I bought a 12-pack of these. Their color temperature was supposed to be warm. It is, except that some of the bulbs have a harsh green hue/cast to them. Many CFLs suffer from the green cast problem, but these are worse than the no name CFL's that you'll get at big box home improvements stores. Their color cast was so bad, we couldn't use them in our family room. I've now put them in use in a basement. Finally, their startup brightness is far worse than most run-of-the-mill CFLs and warm-up to full brightness is minutes, not 10s of seconds. So far, the best I can say is that they work. But, I don't recommend these and won't buy Philips CFLs for a long time. February 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product I really don't think anything from Phillips can pose problems. It is working well at my house. February 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great CFL lamp I have purchased several of these lamps, they work great. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds for them to get to full brightness, but they turn on right away. I have used them for about six months now with no failiures. Quite happy with the product and will buy it again. October 30, 2011
