Nice Light, But Noisey
Great for replacing the bulbs you can't get at the local store anymore. Nice white light. For me they have a problem though. I'm using them in a room that needs to be quiet, and they buzz. If that doesn't bother you, go for it.

BR 40's perform as well or better than the many brands used
Our home is loaded with reflector bulbs. I purchased 1000 BULBS BR 40's in quantity to have a stock in hand in anticipation of unwarranted congressional removal of these bulbs from normal purveyors. I am more than satisfied by the quality and deliveries from 1000 BULBS.

good light at a great price.
I have not had enought time to even burn out one. The light is soft and bright. and soooo much better than one of the "new bulbs" we are going toh ave to deal with in the future

This lightbulb is great and NOT obsolete!
If you're looking for an indoor flood like you had in the past that you can dim and doesn't take 5 minutes to warm up this is it. I know that Lowes and Home Depot will tell you they don't make them anymore which is false. Thanks 1000Bulbs.
