Mogul to Medium - Reducer Socket
Use this Satco 92-406 mogul to medium socket reducer to ensure you can still use your medium base bulbs. Screw your medium base bulbs into this adapter and you've converted it for a mogul socket. This adapter is rated for a maximum of 600 watts. It is not pulse rated and cannot be used with HID fixtures. Don't get frustrated by an incorrect base type ever again!

This reducer saved me money by converting a mogul torchiere into a medium socket. Now I can use lower-wattage bulbs that are less expensive than moguls.

I was repairing a lamp for a friend and this reducer socket made a difficult job much easier. It fit perfectly and made an old lamp (with sentimental value) functional again by not having to change out the socket and avoiding customizing a piece to make a modern socket fit. With the reducer and new wiring we were good to go!
