Hard to find product but not at 1000bulbs.com
I was repairing a lamp for a friend and this reducer socket made a difficult job much easier. It fit perfectly and made an old lamp (with sentimental value) functional again by not having to change out the socket and avoiding customizing a piece to make a modern socket fit. With the reducer and new wiring we were good to go!

inexpensive and does what it should
It has no moving parts so one would expect it to work well.
It does and the price is good.
