The Cree LE6C-GU24 retrofit LED downlight uses only 12 watts to produce 500 lumens. Built upon the same platform as the LR6, the LE6 eyeball trim can be adjusted from 10 to 30 degrees, allowing the user to wash a wall or highlight a work of art. The dimmable LED module replaces a 65 watt incandescent R40 and fits into most 6 inch recessed housings with the addition of a GU24 adapter. Cree's patented TrueWhite technology creates clean, halogen white light with nearly perfect color rendering, while premium electrical design and thermal management preserve color consistency and light output for the life of the product. The Cree LE6C-GU24 is backed by a 10 year warranty.

An excellent investment and solution for energy efficent lighting! Though initial cost is high compared to buying an incandescent replacement bulb, I consider this an investment as I most likely will never have to replacement the light again! Plus I am saving 63-watts per fixture after replacing the 75-watt incandescent reflectors used previosly! High-quality look with built-in trim.
