Bright like a fluorescent bulb, cheaper to run than a cfl, bright white on the color spectrum, not as efficient than an LED however it will outlast an LED at 60K life hours. Buy it for light own it for life. Probably about 60% to 75% cheaper than an equivelant type LED bulb. Possibly even more! Color spectrum, efficiency, long lasting; a winner on all the attributes. 1,400 lumens is more than enough light, especially on the 50K spectrum. May have to try it's 2,600 lumen sibling just to try it. Recommend this type of light in the garage or outdoor.
