Xytrell Works well
It does what it's supposed to. Light output and color spectrum are comparable to an equally powered CFL. An orange plate was knocked out of place (during shipping I hope), and was hanging in the enclosure; fiddling at it with a pair of screw drivers for a while, I managed to snap it back in place.

Kind of disappointed in the efficacy, You see lighting companies raving the induction lamps are super efficient and can replace metal halides twice the induction wattage without loss of light output...not really. I knew this lamp only produced 2800 lumens before I bought it, but I thought it would at least be as bright as a 100w Mercury lamp...not even close. And wont fire at all if the temp drops below 10 degrees, I cant see it lasting the 60,000 hours outdoors here in Wisconsin or other northern states. I say save the $50 and purchase an $8 42w CFL the light output and color temp is essentially the same. Or go LED
