I bought this product to hardwire a series of LED light bars into a dimmer switch. The cord length was plenty long enough to reach the dimmer. The only issue I had was the gauge of the wire in the cord. It's really thin, more like hair than wire. This posed a minor difficulty in attaching to a switch. I had to nut onto a heavier gauge wire to attach to the dimmer. Once done, no problem. Bars accepted dimmer control flawlessly.

this product really should have a 2 plug version for joining upper to lower cabinets in a upgrade senario
if the 1st plug is used in a lower bar where does the other go to somekind wirenutted splice so really you would need 2 70" joiner leads and splice them in the middle ???
