Don't take me wrong - I'm all for it. It's effective, the light it produces is pleasant, and basically it's a good replacement for normal bulbs. My house does not use any other type of bulbs for the past three years. Only one thing - it does not last thousands of hours as advertised. Being a complex electronic device, it consists of dozens of elements. On average, at least one of them dies causing the whole device to stop working. So consider replacement be almost as often as with regular bulbs.
