Rated 4 out of 5 by amalak The Best of Dimmable CFLs
Previous dimmable CFLs tended to flicker at low light levels and had a long list of restrictions concerning which dimmers to use and so on. TCP TruDims are much better. No, they don't dim like incandescents or halogen, and they do take a minimal amount of time to warm, but if you need dimmable CFLs, these are the best on the market! This particular R30 has worked great in our recessed cans.

Bought 7 of these in August 2011. One of the bulbs stopped working in May 2012. A second has begun flickering whether dimming or full power. 1000 Bulbs has stood behind this product and promptly shipped out replacements for the nominal shipping fee.
All told, these work as advertised when they aren't defective. They are relatively cool burning and give off nice light for CFLs. However, I am pretty sure I will not replace them at my expense when the warranty expires. Hopefully, LEDs will come down in price by then.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kristen Good bulbs if you want cfl's that are dimmable.
I purchased these bulbs because I wanted cfl's that were dimmable. When you first turn them on, they are dim like alot of cfl's. They brighten up within a minute. They are a bright, warm light.

1 of the 6 bulbs I purchased burned out in less than 20 days. These bulbs seems to work fine prior to burning out.
