Purchased six of these bulbs for my kitchen. 2 out of the 6 are already dead within a year. Takes about 45 seconds to reach full brightness. The light output is great on these bulbs. Definately does not dim down to 2%.. I'd say about 20-40% and then shuts off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AnnieB Very white bulb
I think the bulbs are good, but they are much cooler in color than I expected. They throw a very white, clear light that is too stark for my kitchen and bathroom. They're more like a 4100 bulb than a halogen bulb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Markandthecats Overall good dimmable CFL
The brightness was variable when starting -- appeared to go to full brightness very briefly before dimming to desired level. Fades to off when trying to achieve very low levels of brightness. These problems are minor and not practically important. Nice white color. Overall good dimmable CFL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crashoffline Good bulb but a few flaws
This is a reasonably priced bulb for what it is. (Dimmable Flood) They are a little slow to turn on and light up but if you can get past this they are a great bulb. The 3500K is great all around lighting and these put off plenty of light in both my kitchen and living room. I have purchased TCP's in the past and I think they are a pretty reliable bulb. The only other flaw that I can find is that while they say dimmable from 100%-2% I find that mine go completely out after the switch is about 50% down. This is not a big deal for me but it might be for others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChrisR Good bulb at a good price
Please note that this review is for the 2700K Warm white version so I cannot speak to the color quality of the other TCP bulbs. Overall this is a solid bulb. I purchased 7 but one was DOA. 1000bulbs offered replacement immediately.
Brightness: seem much brighter than the 65W BR30 incandescent foods they replaced.
Quiet: no discernable hum
Cool: the old BR30s where hot.
Color Quality: excellent for CFLs very warm
Dimmable: they actually dim as advertised.
Starting: Slow to start. There is a noticeable 1-2 second delay before any light appears and take up to a minute or more to brighten to full intensity. Subsequent starts (within 15 minutes) are quicker after they are "warmed up".
Length: They are a little longer than the BR30 incandescent floods they replaced so be aware that think will stick out an inch or two.
