This is by far the best dimmable CFL sold. I have tried dimmables from at least 4 other manufacturers. I would not call any one of them dimmable. Because they really don't dim almost at all. The TruDim actually do dim. They are not equivalent to incandescents, but they are so much better than any other CFL sold. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to use an energy saving bulb with a dimmer switch. Another plus is the choice of colors (4). Other dimmables only come in warm white. The only negative is they start much slower than every other CFL I have tried. They take one full second to start, where others take maybe 1/3 second to start. It doesn't sound like much, but it is very noticeable. Slowly count out loud "one thousand one". That is how long it takes for TruDim to start.

I received these bulbs very promptly after ordering and they were everything that the description indicated.
They came on very quickly after turning on.
They dim very smoothly.
The color is excellent.
The folks at 1000Bulbs were extremely helpful.
