The bulbs give off the color temp (5000 + K) that I needed for my space. Dimmable is also a + with TCP you actually get a lower out-putthen other bulbs I have used in the past.

I just got 12 of these to replace my old CFL 2700k. Wanted them 5k because I take lots of pictures and video of my kids. I like them because I feel like the windows are open and at first I felt like I had to block my eyes with my hand because it felt like I was outside in the sun. LOL The only bad thing is that it takes a second to turn on after you turn the switch on. My old lights did not do that and turned on right away. Other than that these are great. By the way I got 12 lights and 2 were bad but 1000bulbs.com is sending me 2 new ones no questions asked. This is why I will always buy from them.
