SYLVANIA DULUX T/E EOL lamps are ideal for fixtures where shorter overall length and higher lumen packages are required. The amalgam feature provides improved lumen performance when lamps are operated at elevated temperatures. The delta tube configuration provides radial symmetrical light distribution. The Dulux EOL family of 4 pin compact fluorescent lamps have a built in feature that will safely shut the lamp down at the end of lamp life.

I've had these in for about 2 months so I can't comment on the longevity. So far they work good. It does take over 30 seconds for them to warm up completely though. These lamps are supposed to shut down when they start to go bad to save the ballast. I hope this feature works, it is the main reason I purchased them.
