Rated 4 out of 5 by amalak Makes a great DIY light show
These LED Christmas bulbs are great for creating a low-energy, DIY light show. They work great for installing along gutters or in trees or bushes. Your neighbors will be impressed by what looks like an expensive, choreographed Christmas display, when in fact all you did was screw new bulbs into old sockets.

The color changing C6 LED bulbs will be great for my Halloween display next year. I have tons of the light-up pumpkins in my "graveyard". These bulbs will not only save me on electricity, the changing colors will look great.
The only issue I could mention is the size of the box they shipped in (quite large) for one small bag of lights. Otherwise no complaints.

Our neighborheed competes to have the most unusual decoration - these earned me extra points and LED so cost savings as well.

I bought the c7 version. the plastic body is clear and do change colors, BUT it is mostly a blur of multiple colors at one time. When it does change to 1 solid color it is VERY brief and begins changing to another color. When mostly red, it is the brightest. Other than that, very dim. I bought these thinking it would make a nice display on the tree, intermixed with other lights, but for the most part, I'm not very impressed. Because of the price, I can not recommend these. I've been trying to think of a good ap for these bulbs. Time will tell. Perhaps a hallway nightlight?
